The Prezi was a new thing to me. It wwas just introduced and few people were trying it. Everyone in my class did the usual, power point presentation. They are easy and fast, i don't blam them. I decided to taek the harder route and try the Prezi. I enjoyed the flow of slides and words on the screen. I found it difficult to completely control the Prezi, it has a mind of its own at times. The best thing that worked was showing bits and peices of info in a continuous loop.
This is a project where we conducted a fake road trip around america. We were asked to pick 5 cities that Alexis de Tocqueville visited when he was in America. We also had to choose atleast 3 attractions to visit while we were at each city. We found out the entire distance of the trip, the entire time of the trip, and the entire cost of gas for the trip. We also mapped out there entire trip on Map quest. After making our entire power point we presented to the class. I liked this project because it was a new kind of learning experience.

These are websites that i found using keywords in a search engine(google). Most people typ in a common thing like the war of 1812. They will get thousands of results, what they need to do is narrow down the search by using more keywords "The war of 1812, burning of Washington D.C. You will get more specific results to help you get better result.
I used these websites to narrow down a search. From my last artifact in the section i improved my research skills by using better search strategies. Narrowing down the search of the entire Oregon Trail by using key words like instead of searching
"The Oregon Trail" search "The Oregon Trail historic facts".
